ITI Specialties Order Entry, Production and Shipping Policies

We will do all we can to make sure your ITI Specialties order is produced and delivered to you on time. The production of high quality personalized items in quantities can be challenging so please review the following FAQ when planning your order.

Prices and Times.

All prices shown on this web site are in U.S. dollars and all prices and business terms are subject to change without notice. All times shown are Pacific time zone (either standard or daylight savings, depending upon the time of year).

When does production begin?

Production begins after the following 4 steps have all been completed:

  1. A complete purchase order specifying item(s) desired, quantity, shipping instructions, etc. has been received by email, fax, delivery service or snail mail.
     
  2. Production ready artwork has been received by us. We can accept most artwork formats including PDF, PNG, SVG, PSP, JPEG, TIFF, BMP, etc. Non-camera ready artwork that needs to be scanned, corrected or updated by our graphics department will be billed at $60 (T) per hour.
     
  3. A signed approval of the digital engraving proof has been received by email, fax, delivery service or snail mail.
     
  4. Payment in full has been received or credit has been authorized for your order. In cases where we do not have enough inventory on hand to complete an order additional inventory may NOT be ordered until payment terms have been met.

What are your standard credit terms?

Our credit terms are designed to minimize our overhead and keep our costs as low as possible. Our work is highly custom and most orders require us to purchase materials which, after personalization, cannot be reused. ITI Specialties only sells on a wholesale basis to approved promotional products distributors and dealers. New dealers and distributors may be requested to fill out a dealer application. If you are not an ASI / PPAI / Sage qualified distributor or dealer contact us and we will be happy to refer you to one located in your area.

Normal credit terms for orders of standard products are as follows:

First order from new dealers and distributors

Orders, any size

Pre-pay via check or CC upon  placement of order.

We accept prepayments via check or credit card (We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover Cards.)

Repeat orders from established dealers and distributors

Orders under $500

Pre-pay via check or CC upon  placement of order.

Orders over $500, ASI Credit Connect score less than 85 or not rated on ASI Credit Connect 50% prepay via check or CC on placement of order.

50% via check or CC upon shipment of order. No COD's

Orders over $500, ASI Credit Connect score higher than 85 50% prepay via check or CC upon placement of order.

50% N-30 after shipment

Payment terms for orders of custom products will be quoted upon review of the project.

We are an ASI member and we report all payment experience to ASI Credit Connect.

How long does production normally take?

Normal production time is up to 7 - 10 business days from the time production begins (see above). This increases to up to 10 - 15 business days from November 15 through December 31 to accommodate our increased volume of orders for the holiday season. Custom products and/or large quantity orders may require more production time and you will be advised if the estimated production time of your order will exceed normal production times. Depending upon shop loading expedited production may be available for some orders (see below).

IMPORTANT NOTE: Production time is the time it takes to produce and pack your order for shipment. It DOES NOT include shipping time in transit from our factory to your destination.

Is expedited production available?

Expedited production may be available for some items. Expedited production shortens the production time but increases the unit cost of items in the order with the following rush charges:

January 1 - November 14 Expedited Production

  • 5 business day production, add 20% (T)
  • 3 business day production, add 35% (T)
  • 2 business day production, add 50% (T) - small orders only

November 15 - December 31 Holiday Season Expedited Production

  • 5 business day production, add 25% (T)
  • 3 business day production, add 50% (T)
  • 2 business day production - contact ITI Specialties for availability

We will do our very best to accommodate your expedited production requirements but we only have so many machines. Expedited production availability varies with shop load and is typically not available for custom product orders or for large order quantity orders. Contact ITI Specialties to verify if expedited production will be available so the item you have selected can be produced in time to meet your requirements.

What shipping methods are available?

All orders are shipped F.O.B Vancouver, Washington USA.All orders will be shipped using our choice of the best available ground service unless a specific service is requested. Customers may request UPS, FedEx, or USPS shipping services, both standard and expedited. Upon request we will bill shipping charges directly to your individual account with your carrier of choice.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Production time is the time it takes to produce and pack your order for shipment. It DOES NOT include shipping time in transit from our factory to your destination.

What are your standard artwork charges?

We can accept your artwork in most standard digital formats including PDF, PNG, SVG, PSP, JPEG, TIFF, BMP, etc. In general, we have an artwork charge of $35 (T) for each individual image processed for your order. Most of our items only require one image but some of them may need up to six. Up to three digital artwork proofs are included with the set-up fee for each image processed. Additional digital artwork proofs will be billed at $15 (T) each. All proofs are sent digitally by email as Adobe reader PDF files. Hard copy Proofs are $20 (T) plus any shipping charges. Non-camera ready artwork that needs to be scanned, corrected, updated, etc. by our graphics department will be processed for $60 (T) per hour.

Are re-orders charged new artworkcharges?

Re-orders with no changes to the artwork from the original order incur no new artwork set-up fees. Any changes to the original approved artwork will be considered new artwork requiring new set-up charges and new signed customer approvals.

Is individual item personalization available?

Personalization by individual engraving of proper names, nicknames, jersey numbers, military rank insignia, etc. are available for some items. If individual item personalization is available there is a personalization fee of $2.00 (T) per piece plus a personalization batch set-up fee of $50 (T).

Are blank products available?

Some items may be available blank with no logo or imprint. If you desire to purchase blank merchandise contact ITI Specialties a price quote.

Are pre-production samples available?

Pre-production samples will be billed at $50 (T) plus the retail price of the item plus applicable shipping charges. The $50 (T) sample charge is refundable upon placement of an order of minimum quantity with same artwork.

May I order less than the minimums?

Orders for less than the minimum orders may be available from some items for a charge of an additional +20% (T) of the minimum quantity price for the item (T). Contact ITI Specialties to see if below minimum quantities are available for the item of interest.

May I cancel my order?

Once production has started you are responsible for any cost incurred through the date of cancellation of any completed or partial order, including any special materials which have been purchased to produce the order. Only written cancellations will be accepted.

May I return my order?

In general, no. We will repair or replace defective items but personalized items are, by definition, custom and generally not reusable by us. Any claims for repair or replacement must be authorized by ITI Specialties within 30 days of receipt of product.
